Made an appointment for a repair due to a recall. They were prompt, taking the car at the scheduled time

Bought a used Honda Odyssey from Crest a few years ago. When we test drove it, among other things, I noticed that there was no spare tire(it was also poorly detailed, which I was quick to point out). I asked them to put a spare in it before we took delivery. During delivery I verified that they had put a spare in it. I should have verified that they put a spare that actually fit on the van. We got a flat tire this weekend while traveling in Memphis. We were literally stranded on the side of the freeway because the folks at Crest couldn't spend 5 minutes checking to make sure the spare they found for our van actually fit. I had to call AAA and a tow truck to come get us. Being stranded on the side of the interstate in the middle of Memphis wasn't the way I wanted to spend my Labor Day weekend. If you're going to buy a used car from Crest Honda, I'd take it to a trusted mechanic for a full inspection before signing the papers.

Had an amazing experience this week at Crest Honda. I Honda vehicles. However, shopping for one hasn't been so easy, especially shopping the used selections. We shopped on Saturday after our awesome sale rep. called to answer my inquiry about a particular can. Brigg Stoll was our sales rep. and he was amazing. Laid back but professional. Friendly, yet truly displayed a love for his dealership and job. We shopped Saturday and left to think about this huge decision. Returned Thursday and Brigg was thrilled for us to be back and eager to test drive the vehicle with us, answer our mound of questions, and make a way for the payments to work out so the van could be ours! At the end of our transaction and the deal was done, it was 1.5 hours after closing. Brigg didn't worry a bit and spent another 30 minutes with us programming my Bluetooth, setting my Navigation up, and moving things from my trade-in. Martin, the used car manager did a great job of giving us a good trade in on our vehicle, because he truly wanted us to be in a car we loved. Brigg wasn't prepared to stop until we got the car of our dreams for our family! Corey Mooney in the finance department was beyond amazing. He was friendly, humble, and understood we had a strict budget. We felt comfortable being honest with our budget and what we could comfortably afford. He suggested the Total Care for our car-not to make a sale...to insure us that we were covered with our van for a long period of time. I can't say enough about Corey and how fun, yet professional he was.



I was worried about going to Creat Honda, because I had done all my prior business at another Honda dealership-not anymore. Crest Honda is our new home. They men and women who work there love their job and the service department was so nice, I can't wait to get my oil changed!



Thank you Crest Honda, especially to Mr. Brigg Stoll. He will forever be our go to sales rep. for any future purchases. I am thrilled with my new car, how beautifully shines it was, how they stayed open way late without rushing us, and how it was just a comfortable transaction!

Service department is horrible! Told me it will take 5 hours to work on my van and took nearly 9 hours! Completely messed up my day and schedule. All with fake smiles and apologies. Bunch of incompetent people -- don't take your vehicle to this dealership.

This is the 6th new car I have purchased from Crest in the past 6 years. This agency has set a higher bar for all others to follow! They continue to impress me more every year I make my purchase. They treat me with respect, dignity, and value my business. You get the impression that you are a member of the family not just a customer. They do not try and sell you something you do not want. They make it very clear up front that they want to earn your business and keep it. To them this is not a one time deal. It is a commitment to a lasting business relationship. They always give me a fair and honest price. I do not have to shop around. Although they are part of a very large conglomerate, they still maintain their “local flavor”. The sales manager Rick and my personal salesman Lew are fabulous to work with! They make the buying process unbelievably easy and painless. The finance guy does not try and sell you a bunch of stuff you do not want. I like to get in, get down to business, and get out with a friendly and shake and a thank you. This is what you get from these guys. And on the rare occasion I have had to go back for minor repairs or service, they accommodate all of my needs. If there is a better agency in Tennessee, I sure would like someone to tell me about them. You will love doing business with Crest.

The transmission failed on my 2001 Civic, but I was able to get it towed to Crest with little difficulty. After a few days of good customer service, but repeatedly incorrect estimates of completion time vexed me. I received my car with a newly rebuilt transmission nearly a week later.



Upon getting my receipt, there was listed that an engine mounting bracket was damaged (which had not been there a few days prior during an inspection). Starting my car, it was apparent that this was an understatement as the whole car shook immediately upon idling for any amount of time.



Subsequently, an inspection from a trustworthy dealer elsewhere found that there were "...at least 3 broken engine mounts."



There is no reason for this to have happened. Short of considering a purposeful damaging of my car, I don't know what to think. Will never return.

I went in for a recall and oil...

I went in for a recall and oil change. I was told that other work needed to be done which would cost $900. Even thought I agreed, when I got home and saw the repair receipt I felt that there were things on there that hadn't been explained to me. I felt duped. I went back the next day and explained my situation and ended up getting a refund of over $400. (It was still more than what I was expecting to pay for just an oil change but I did get work done to the car that needed to be done.) Anyone can make a mistake but it's how they try to put it right that counts. These guys wanted me to leave happy and I was impressed.

Poor Service!

I bought my CRV in 2008 and I just did my 30,000 mile maintenance today. I check my car and it had two chips on the left front by the headlights and the side of the headlights had a deep chip as well. So I must go in Thursday to let the manager see. I've been there 6 times for service, first time they did NOT fill my fluids, I was out of windshield fluid after 3 use. Second time was fine, Third time no windshield fluids again, Fourth time I had to replace ALL my tires in one year usage. Fifth I paid for tire rotation that was never done, the only reason why I know because I went to car wash 3 days prior and I scratched the left front wheel. I personally think the reason why I had to replace all my tires was because they never did rotate or balance my tires period!!! They are beginning to tick me off!!!! MUST mark your tires to make sure they rotate or go in the back to watch them do it!!!!

take your car in for a oil change and watch the bill go to $2000 ! Be careful ! this dealer is paying their payroll off of its service department. Someone should send a news person in this place for a oil change. This is not just a single incidient. Many hard working people that work in this area have been taken.

We have owned 3 Hondas and 2 A...

We have owned 3 Hondas and 2 Acuras, and when we moved to Nashville it was time to get a van. There are several dealers in the metro area, but we ended up buying from Crest in 2004 because my husband liked his salesman and got the best deal from him, at a time when Odysseys were hot (relatively speaking). I subsequently met and have relied upon Mr. Ernest Moody to take care of our servicing issues. He is such the modern Southern gentleman--gracious, funny, and excellent at cultivating relationships. He knows his vehicles, knows his company, and has gone the extra mile for us. (For example, he had our CD player replaced when a library cd got jammed in it--and even mailed the cd back to us after getting it back from the manufacturer.) Great service is what distinguishes excellent companies from OK ones, and Mr. Moody has helped make Crest the dealer we rely on and will stick with.
